GDPR Clause
- Personal Data Processing Rules by PTEC (Polish Association of Heat Energy)
- The controller of personal data within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (“GDPR”) is the association under the name: Polish Association of Heat Energy with its registered office in Warsaw, at ul. Nowogrodzka 11, 00-513 Warsaw, Poland.
- For all matters regarding the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to data processing, you may contact the Controller in the following ways:

- Personal data such as: name and surname, e-mail address, position in the organisation, company data — are processed by the Controller for the purpose of organising the event entitled “Cogeneration Congress”, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) of the GDPR, i.e. in connection with the performance of a service and the legitimate interest of the Controller, and it is indicated that such data are necessary for participation in the event.
- Furthermore, personal data such as: image captured in photographs, image and voice captured in audio-video recordings — are processed by the Controller for the purpose of conducting marketing and promotional activities for the event, as well as for the promotion of future events of a similar nature, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e. the legitimate interest of the Controller.
- Personal data may be shared with other entities, in particular those supporting the organisation of the event in technical and promotional terms, and entities documenting the event through photographs and video recordings. Such data will be shared in particular for the purpose of performing the service, as well as for purposes arising from the legitimate interests of the Controller. Data may also be transferred where separate consent has been obtained.
- Personal data processed by PTEC are not transferred to recipients in countries outside the European Economic Area (“third countries”). Any transfer of data to a third country may only take place after obtaining your consent; in such a case, you have the right, upon a request submitted to PTEC, to obtain a copy of the personal data transferred to the third country.
- Personal data will be processed for the time necessary to achieve the purpose, for a maximum period of six years from the moment the service expired or was fully performed.
- Personal data will not be used for profiling or other similar methods of automated personal data processing, i.e. they will not be processed in an automated manner for the purpose of evaluating, analysing or predicting personal characteristics.
- The person who provides personal data to the Controller has the right to:
- request access to their personal data from the Controller,
- rectification of personal data,
- erasure of personal data or restriction of processing,
- object to the processing of their data,
- data portability,
- lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
- The exercise of the rights listed in points 1 to 5 may in particular consist of submitting a declaration to the Controller’s address or to the e-mail address sekretariat@ptez.com.pl.
